Frequently asked questions

What parents usually ask

Questions parents most often ask in the first conversation. If you don't find your answer, get in touch via the contact form.

Pricing and payment

Does the price change if my child attends less often?

The price is always the same, whether the child attends 20 days a month or just 1. The reason is simple: our costs (rent, salaries, utilities, food, materials) don't drop when a child is absent, so the price can't either.

Your spot in the group is yours; we hold it as if the child comes every day, even when they don't. That way the spot stays available, and the other children keep a stable rhythm.

What's included in the price?

Full-day care (07:30 – 17:00), 4 meals, the entire structured program (art, music, motor and sensory activities), sport activities, dance and singing, materials, special events and outings tied to the weekly theme.

Full overview on the Pricing page.

What about discounts for second, third, fourth child?

2nd child from the same family −30%, 3rd child −60%, 4th child free. See the example calculation and yearly numbers on Pricing.

One-time payment or monthly installments?

Both options are available. The one-time annual payment is 10% lower than the sum of monthly installments. Monthly installments give more flexibility in the household budget but the yearly total is higher.

Health and safety

Does my child need to be vaccinated to enroll?

We don't require vaccination records. The vaccination decision is up to parents. Our only requirement is that the child is healthy at the time of arrival, with no acute symptoms (fever, cough, rash, diarrhoea, etc.).

What health conditions does the child need to meet?

The child should have typical developmental milestones for their age and be healthy when joining the group. At enrollment we ask for a pediatrician's confirmation of the child's health. Specific health needs (allergies, dietary restrictions, special therapies) we discuss individually and adapt for.

What if my child gets sick, do I need a doctor's note?

Yes. After each illness we need a pediatrician's note stating the child is ready to return to the group. This protects your child (from recurrence or complications) and other children (from infection spread).

Please let us know on day one when your child can't come; no need to apologize, just inform. It helps us plan the day.

Do you accommodate vegetarian, vegan or allergy-aware diets?

Yes, we adapt meals for the child in cases of allergies, intolerances, and medically indicated diets, with a doctor's note from a pediatrician or specialist (e.g. confirmation of a gluten, lactose, egg, or nut allergy).

Without that documentation we follow the standard daycare menu, which is nutritionally balanced and includes meat, fish, eggs, dairy, and seasonal fruit and vegetables. This way every child gets a complete, age-appropriate diet, while we avoid dietary restrictions without a medical basis.

Arrival and daily rhythm

When can children arrive and leave?

Drop-off is flexible between 07:30 and 10:30, whenever suits you. The daily rhythm (breakfast at 8:00, main activity at 9:00, going outside at 10:30) flows on its own; the child joins whatever's underway when they arrive.

Pickup is between 15:00 and 16:55.

What if I'm late after 17:00?

Late pickup after 17:00 is charged per minute. It's not about revenue, it's a deterrent so staff can finish the day on time and go home to their families. If something unexpected comes up, let us know as soon as possible and we'll work it out.

Do children go outside in bad weather?

Yes, with proper gear we go out in rain, wind and cold. For preschool age, "bad weather" usually just means inadequate clothing. In severe storms, extreme cold or extreme heat we stay inside and do indoor motor activities.

Adaptation and the first day

How long does adaptation take?

Standard adaptation lasts 10 working days (2 weeks), from 1 hour with the parent on day one to a full normal day on day ten. See the day-by-day breakdown in the Adaptation timeline section.

If a step needs to be repeated, we agree and do it. No pressure.

Can the parent be present during the first days?

Yes. Day one the parent stays in the group the whole time. Day two, half the time. By day four we do drop-off at the door, when the child is ready without you.

What to bring on the first day?

On the first day all you need to bring is slippers and a water bottle (if your child drinks from one). Everything else, spare clothes in 3 sets (underwear, pants, t-shirts) and diapers if used, can be brought right away or over the following days, whatever's easier.

Can I visit before enrolling?

Of course, a visit is free and commits you to nothing. Best to schedule a morning slot when children are active and you can see what the day really looks like. Reach out via the contact form.

Communication with parents

How do I find out what my child did during the day?

A short conversation at pickup: what they ate, how they slept, what was interesting. During the day we photograph activities and send updates to parents. If the day was unusual (conflicts, prevailing mood, small events), we update you in more detail.

Is there a parents' group?

Yes, a WhatsApp group with all parents for general announcements (outings, special events, brief group absences). Private questions go directly to the teacher, not in the group.
